pre orders open again today at Hobby Search for 8330 yen per doll.....they did close their pre orders, but get in quick if you want one, I hear.....

HobbySearch charge your CC once they ship the doll - they ask for the details when you preorder so that they charge the card when the order is ready - they email to let you know when they are processing the order

I'm not a super fan of the girls with coloured hair, but I do love Simply Mango and her stock is really cute too. My 9 year old was saving for Nostalgic Pop, but I think she might change her mind when I show her these two girls. Her little puppy is sweet and so much more affordable for her than Nostalgic.

Yes they do.. but they should credit it back within a few days.
With new registrations, they do a kind of 'test' on your card to make sure it's all legitimate. I got a call once from ANZ saying there was a strange transaction on my credit card from Japan and if I made the transaction (I think it was actually for 1 cent)... and I realised just a hour earlier I registered with Hobby Search.
I would keep an eye to make sure the $1 is credited back... imagine if they did that with everyone and kept it.

Drat, they've closed off pre orders now....I've left my email address, so hoping that they might still contact me a little later on saying that I can still pre order - that's a really good price.

I don't recall seeing that when I bought off them at first ........... off to check the VISA statements

EDIT: To add - they never did that with mine but it was June last year - maybe they've changed their processes since then
