Hi,
I'm Mel, Mum of two from Tasmania.
I don't have my own Blythe doll yet, but have Nostalgic Pop on it's way, so hoping she arrives soon! I have a little girl (she's 9) and she has three Blythe dolls of her own and is madly saving every ounce of leftover birthday money and pocket money for her next one.
I also enjoy baking, sewing, scrapbooking, crafting with my kids, knitting and crochet (although I'm only a beginner with those two). The lovely Jodie (kittyrobot) sent me a link to join the forum a couple of days ago (thanks Jodie!).
Well, I think I've rambled enough, looking forward to reading all the Blythe chatter,
Melx

Hi Everybody!

Glad to be here. :)

I looked at dolls online for some time before I threw caution to the winds and admitted that I like dolls. I still have my childhood friends, 2 dolls and I red teddy, and they oversee with a certain amount of amused joy all new additions.

I started off with Prima Violet, and she is gorgeous. I branched out to a Hestia doll, then realised that i just loved Pullips. I particularly love the early pullips.

My collection of Pullips so far includes, Withered, Mitzi, Cornice, Rei, Neo Noir, Haute N.Y.,Rida and Timulus, who is really a Taeyang, and 2 mini's, Dido and Little Froggy.

I have plans to acquire Noir...don't ask me about it...I'm saving my pennies...well, cents...and I scan ebay for Principessa, who was auctioned off on ebay last year, and whose end of auction price shocked me a little. :shock1

My doll collecting sits alongside my love of anime and Japanese Hurujuku (sp?!) Street fashion.

Oh yeah...and I have a husband and children. ;)
